Xsilva Certifies 43 LightSpeed POS Resellers At Certification Camp

Resellers from around the world attend inaugural channel training event in Montreal

October 24, 2006 - Montreal, QC - Xsilva Systems Inc certified 43 resellers from around the world on LightSpeed Point of Sale for Mac OS X at the inaugural LightSpeed Certification Camp, held at the Hôtel Godin in Montréal, Quebec, Canada from October 13th to 15th, 2006.

"Resellers traveled from as far away as Mexico City, Anchorage, Alaska, and Limerick, Ireland to attend our event. We are thrilled to have all of these energized, certified resellers promoting and integrating LightSpeed Point of Sale small business solutions around the world."

 

Advanced LightSpeed Training

The exclusive event gave participants the opportunity to obtain in-depth LightSpeed product knowledge, share tips, ask questions, influence LightSpeed's development roadmap and receive an official certification from Xsilva Systems.

Twelve sessions were presented by members of the Xsilva executive, development and marketing teams, with special presentations by OpenBase CEO, Scott Keith and event sponsors Star Micronics and IronGate SMC.

 

Xsilva-Style Social Events

Social events included a reception and cocktail party at Bar Godin featuring performances by talented Montréal songstress Athésia, a Saturday night dinner event and several other opportunities for networking and enjoying the best of the Montréal metropolis.

ASMC Receives Special Honor

An Xsilva Special Honor award was presented to Kevin Langdon, Executive Director of the Apple Specialist Marketing Co-op (ASMC) in recognition of the ASMC's key role in bringing LightSpeed to market in 2005/2006.
